Situation / Scenario
Use this guide when an employee needs to request a day off in Centricity Time and Attendance.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Log in to Centricity Time and Attendance.
Helpful Tips
- Use Add Calendar when requesting time off. - Use Add Clocking when requesting a missing or corrected clocking. - For a full day off, enter 8 hours in Hours/Units. - The time for a day off request should be entered as 0800. - The pay code for a day off request should be CTO PY. - Submitting the request does not mean it is approved. - Always check that the request is approved by a manager.

- Forgetting to enter CTO PY as the pay code.
- Entering the wrong date.
- Forgetting to enter 0800 for the time off request.
- Forgetting to enter the number of hours needed off.
- Assuming the request is approved immediately after saving.
- Forgetting to save the request.
What NOT To Do
- Do not submit a time off request without verifying the date.
- Do not use the wrong pay code for time off.
- Do not enter a full day off as anything other than 8 hours unless instructed otherwise.

- Do not enter patient-specific identifiers into the help bot or guide request form.
Escalation Instructions
If the employee cannot access Centricity, cannot locate the Employee tab, entered the wrong date or time, used the wrong pay code, or the request is not showing for manager approval, contact a supervisor or designated manager for assistance.
